JANUARY -

 

January 24- Woody Williams - Medal of Honor - Meet, Greet and Auction - Keller, TX.  

 
Friday, January 24th from 6 to 8:30 pm at the Bowden Event Center, 1775 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX. Meet the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from the Pacific theater received for actions at the battle of Iwo Jima, Woody Williams. Woody is in town supporting the Gold Star Families Monument that will be dedicated in Keller. Woody is trying to get one built in each state. There will be a live auction.

March 14- the 9th Annual Mansfield St. Paddy's Pickle Day Parade - Mansfield, TX.

 

 

 
Saturday, March 14. The theme of this years parade is Support the Troops. Parade starts at 1 p.m. Details to come.

March 21- Vintage Flying Musuem Rosie the Riveter Garden Dedicaiton and Flyday - Fort Worth, TX.

 

 
Saturday, March 21, dedication starts at 9 am, museum and flyday start at 10 am till 4 pm. at the Vintage Flying Museum at Meacham Field, 505 NW 38th St. Fort Worth, TX. 76106. Event is free, museum tours and plane rides do have a fee.

March 21- Our Fathers Welding Charity Car Show - Denton, TX.

 

 
Saturday, March 21. Registration is from 8 to 10 a.m. located at the North Texas Rodeo and Fair Grounds, 2217 Carroll Blvd. Denton, TX. 76021. Supporting We Got Your Six, a non-profit organization supporting veterans receiving treatment at VA hospitals. Registration is $25. The trophies are one of a kind welded art.

APRIL -

April 18 - City of Gainesville Medal of Honor Parade - Gainesville, TX.

 

 
Saturday, April 18. One of the best events of the year the city of Gainesville invites Medal of Honor recipients to a weekend of festivities and a parade on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. There is a meet, greet and signing event with the recipients afterward at the Gainesville Civic Center from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

May 16-17 - Texas Militaria Expo and Show - Burleson, TX. 

 

 
Saturday and Sunday, May 16 & 17th at the Burleson Event Center, 1150 S. Burleson Blvd., Burleson, TX. 76028. Right in our own backyard! Each day starts at 9 am. Should be an excellent show!
