"Honoring Nadene" is the theme for the 2023 Audie Murphy Day celebration in Farmersville, Tx. on Saturday, June 10th. Verda Nadine Murphy Lokey is Audie's little sister.
The Farmersville Heritage Museum will be open from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, June 9th. There will be a showing of Audie Murphy's story "To Hell and Back" at 7 pm at the Fine Arts on Main at 135 S. Main St. The museum will also be open Saturday, June 10th with some newly donated Audie Murphy memorabilia!

This car show will feature classic and antique cars from across the decades! With over 150 cars from the early 20s to the late 70s, the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show, presented by Chevrolet will represent half a century of restored, maintained, and beloved vehicles from the past and bring out car owners from all over to connect with the community through a shared admiration of classic automobiles. The car show takes place on June 10th starting at 11:00 a.m. and continues through 4:00 p.m. in the Vandergriff Town Center at 200 N. Mesquite Street. Accompanying these classic cars will be food trucks from some of your favorite local downtown restaurants and live music. The event is free to attend and open to the public!
